According to the working principle of oil mist filter, the products are mainly divided into three categories: centrifugal, electrostatic and condensing.
The working principle of centrifugal is:
When the controller is powered on, the strong negative pressure generated by the mist suction port forces the oil mist to be sucked into the mist absorber in a directional manner. The oil mist particles collide under the action of the wind wheel in the mist absorber, and the tiny particles gather into larger particles that can be controlled. They are intercepted by the high-efficiency mist absorption material and collected and recycled through the reflux port. The working principle of electrostatic is:
According to the secondary principle of electrostatic field, the fine oil mist particles enter a strong electric field with the air flow and carry positive charge. When the charged particles reach the electric field between the purifier collection plates, the particles are attracted by the metal washing plate and adhere to the metal plate, thereby separating the oil mist from the air and achieving the purification effect. Comparison between centrifugal and electrostatic oil mist filters:
Centrifugal oil mist filters are widely applicable, and the requirements for workshop environments are not very high; electrostatic oil mist filters can only be used in relatively dry workshop environments. For workshops with heavy fog, the conductive properties of water can easily short-circuit the electric field of the oil mist filter.
The separation effect of centrifugal oil mist filters is not as fine as that of electrostatic ones. The diameter of the separable particles of electrostatic oil mist filters can be as small as 0.01 microns.
